NYC Based Tap Dancers Wanted

 

Audition Alert!
Tap: On Tap, an All Abilities Tap Ensemble, seeks experienced New York City-based Tap Dancers to join our company.



Requirements:

-Age: 18 years or older

-Tap Dancing Skill Level: Advanced

-Professional Performance Experience: Preferred (but do NOT let the lack of professional experience stop you!)

-Attitude: Open minded, receptive to feedback, and patient



Time Commitment:

-Regular Rehearsals: 2 hour sessions on Sundays, 1-2 times per month. (Small cash stipends will be given.)

-Ad Hoc Rehearsals: May be scheduled closer to performance dates

-Performances: There may be several performances scheduled over the course of the year in the New York/New Jersey area. (Small cash stipends will be given.)

-Individual Practice: It is a given! Always be prepared for every rehearsal and performance!

-Headshot (need not be professional)

-One paragraph introducing yourself. Who are you? Why do you tap dance? Why are you interested in Tap: On Tap?

-Performance resume, if available

-One minute video of you tap dancing. You may submit additional footage, but please clearly identify the primary one minute video.

-We will review all submissions and invite finalists to meet with us for a live audition.
