OPEN DANCE ENSEMBLE is seeking dancers for our forthcoming season. We have two upcoming shows scheduled and are planning for additional performance opportunities now that in-person venues are opening again. We are seeking dancers with experience training in ballet, contemporary, acro, and improvisation.

We specialize in self-conducted improvised dance and work closely as a collaborative in planning and execution. Since we began in 2017, we have created more than a dozen works and performed at many venues in New York City and nearby. We are a volunteer organization and we pride ourselves in our dedication to the work we create.
