Casting Notice For MOUTHZZZBRAINLOUDDD

MOUTHZZZBRAINLOUD is a 50 minute experimental performance piece by LA-based artist Barnett Cohen to be staged at the JDJ Gallery in Tribeca on November 3/4/5. Rehearsals will take place during the month of October in lower Manhattan. The performance is non-equity. Payment is a flat fee of $1500, which is for rehearsals and performances. Auditions take place on Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd. Proof of full vaccination is required. No self tapes.

Please e-mail lfagan83@gmail.com to schedule an audition and/or with any questions.

MOUTHZZZBRAINLOUD is a poem from the future. It is non-narrative and therefore not character-based. Rather than casting for performers to perform their identities within the vehicle of story, we are searching for performers to experiment with type within the context of poetry. We are searching for performers who have a generous energy and want to push/press/pull language and ideas in new directions, to take ownership of the text and make it their own.
