Our annual Resident Artist Program offers support and resources for a selected NYC-based, movement-based artist to explore their creative process. This year’s program will host a 150-hour studio residency and culminates in a 3-evening, in-person performance run in our theater. The Resident Artist is curated through an open application process, with the final selection chosen in collaboration with a rotating panel of peer artists. This program aims to support the artistic process and provide space and time to put practice into action.

The program includes:

150 hours of fully subsidized rehearsal space to be used in any of our studios

lighting design by our in-house designers

technical and production resources + support

marketing resources + support

(12) hours of technical rehearsal

a 3-evening paid performance run in our theater

box office management and ticketing support

on-site prop and equipment storage

$500 stipend

ELIGIBILITY

-Artists must be movement-based and live within the 5 boroughs at the time of application submission and during the residency.
-Available the week of JUNE 6, 2022 for (12) hours of technical rehearsal and (3) evening performances JUNE 9-11, 2022.
