COSTUME SEAMSTRESS DESCRIPTION:

$1,600 flat rate. Compensation will be provided on November 20, 2022.

Must be flexible with schedule to meet with Artistic Director and Production Team in the Chelsea area.

ETD is looking for a Costume Seamstress to sew ten (10) costumes for our upcoming production Factory|Refractory. This position provides essential support to our creative and styling team. The position will work closely with our Artistic Director to co-style and sew together individual costumes for our dancers. The seamstress will need to be available for parts of rehearsals to make alterations to costumes. The seamstress will need to be available on our dress rehearsal (11/19, 10am-4pm) and show date (11/20, 12pm-10pm) to help the dancers get into their costumes and properly style them, under the direction of the Artistic Director.

ETD will provide the materials needed to fulfill these tasks (i.e., thread and fabrics). We do not have a sewing machine or space to provide.

The Costume Seamstress is compensated at $1,600 for 20-25 hours of work per week for four-six weeks. We are looking to fill the position immediately. The position will terminate after the show (11/20/2022).
