Peridance is seeking an Assistant Theater Manager. This newly developed part-time position encompasses several duties, contributing to the overall success of the KnJ Theater. The scope of the job requires attendance at evening and/or weekend activities and performances.

 

Responsibilities

Assist the Theater Manager during:

Tech

Theater Build

Performance(s)

Breakdown

Be able to sub and manage the theater during the Theater Manager absence.

Direct the theater staff.

Be able to resolve situations and be proactive.

Soundboard & QLab knowledge (not required)

Taking care of the Box Office.
 

Requirements

Experience at the KnJ Theater or any other theater  a+

Be available Friday 6:30pm-1am, Saturday 4pm-11pm and Sunday 4p-11pm or could be the entire day 8am-11pm, when shows occur at the theater.

 

Supervision

The new hire will work directly under the Theater Manager. He, She or They will work closely with the theater’s staff.

 

Compensation

This position offers between 25h to 35h a week, depending on bookings.

$16 Hourly pay + Unlimited Dance Classes.

If subbing for the Theater Manager in his absence, a flat fee will occur.
