BIPOC Scholarship Audition Class: Somatic Aerial Dance - FREE

Group of BIPOC dancers who attended our 2018 Scholarship Audition Class and the Fly-by-Night company members who helped. VIvarPhoto.com

For over a dozen years Fly-by-Night Dance Theater has offered an annual FREE Scholarship Audition Class to BIPOC movers as a way to diversify our community and level the playing ground for all. A number attendees have been invited to study with us on scholarship for our weekly class following the audition.

The audition class is an intro to basic low-flying trapeze integrated with Skinner Releasing Technique. Explore simple hangs and events with structured improvisations. Breathe, visualize, and allow images from nature to bring your whole self to your dancing.

Sunday Jan 15 The Weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

11 am – 12:45 pm
