Groundswell Series is a curated program of pop-up, site-specific professional dance performances happening in outdoor spaces of Brooklyn, New York. It brings dance into the public eye by offering performances in places where people are already socializing and enjoying their environment. We aim to give choreographers an opportunity to present work in challenging, unique spaces; to encourage presence in New York City parks; and to promote dance literacy and appreciation among park-goers and audiences.

This year's series will take place at the Old Stone House & Washington Park in Park Slope, Brooklyn, on Friday, July 7th and Saturday, July 8th at 7pm.

Choreographers will receive a minimum $200 stipend, promotional support, free professional photo and video documentation of their work, and inclusion in the broader Groundswell Series network.
