Asking the question “What will you miss when it’s gone?”, the Dancing out of Time festival will highlight the work of dance artists from diverse communities, both urban and rural, and all dance styles who are creating work focused on bringing attention to the correlation between environmental justice and social justice.

Inner cities are already feeling the consequences of climate gentrification and forced migration and rural areas are facing the impact of extreme weather events. What is happening in your community? We encourage dancers and filmmakers to look around their streets, and their communities, to bring those stories to life.

Deadline to submit is March 31st with the festival taking place in Miami, FL in late spring.

All submission criteria and the submission form can be found here.

Filmmakers chosen for the festival will be awarded an honorarium of $100
