VALLETO seeks female and non-binary dancers based in Austin for our 2023 season.
Audition Submission Deadline: March 25th, 2023, at 11:59 pm

As a dancer with VALLETO, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of a new piece for our upcoming performances, as well as additional events. This is a performance-based pay opportunity with other perks, and we'll create a flexible schedule based on everyone's availability, with more extended weekend rehearsals if possible.

Ideal candidates for the audition should have a strong background in ballet and contemporary dance and experience with improvisational and collaborative methods. We're looking for dance artists willing to challenge themselves creatively and are aligned with VALLETO's mission. Our repertory is physically demanding, collaborative, and emotionally driven, so we're seeking creative dancers with drive, passion, endurance, and a commitment to the process.

Please send your materials to valletodance@gmail.com with the "Austin Audition" subject line by March 25th, 2023, at 11:59 pm. Your submission should include a video sample (link only) with 1 minute of improvisation, your resume, and headshot.

The audition will take place on April 1st, 2023, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with registration starting at 4 pm. Location is at FIRST STREET STUDIO, 701 Tillery St., Austin, Texas 78702.
