Methods of Making is a collaborative dance composition workshop that seeks to support your innate desire to create and move within community. Class begins with a somatic-based warm-up, and then transitions into a rehearsal environment. Participants will be given prompts to create in solos, duets, trios, and full groups while building skills such as fast decision-making, articulation of ideas, and working in tandem with other artists. We will put it all together and have a “finished” piece by the end of class! The piece will be recorded and the video will be shared with all participants.
