SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

Job Opportunity (p/t temporary) $20/hour

I seek a P/T REMOTE temporary Social Media Assistant to cover all aspects of social media (LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram) marketing for my fitness classes, creative aging in dance teaching, updating my Fitness Empowerment (squarespace) website including my blog, my EFT Tapping sessions and other independent projects. I seek an excellent social media writer with a strong sense of publicity and tech savvy! This job is a great fit for a talented social media publicist also interested in dance/fitness, holistic healing or energy medicine. Although currently a temporary position, this job can lead to permanent employment for the right person.  I am an independent writer, teacher and dancer/mover. In my past life, I was the founder/ED/AD of a dance nonprofit organization based in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities: Creating timely consistent social media posts for LinkedIn/ Facebook/instagram as well as updates and postings to the Fitness Empowerment squarespace website and helping create an automated email list. The task requires writing, editing and posting on social media. Basic knowledge of video/audio editing tools for social media reels. The ideal candidate has remote work experience, shows attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a flexible environment.  Familiarity with dance/movement and energy healing methodologies a plus.  .

Requirements: This is a remote position for an individual with a flexible schedule who can work approximately 10-15 hours monthly. I seek someone who has  experience with publicity and social media strategy, familiarity with updating and editing a squarespace website,and ability to set up an automated mailing list.   She/He/They have the ability to learn and adapt to the right tone and voice of the work and approaches challenges with a creative spirit. $20/hour.
