Finleigh Zack Dance is seeking 2 choreographers for a new workshopshop series called "Creative Gatherings"

In each quarter of 2024, the company will host a FREE collaborative workshop for the NYC community. The evening will consist of the choreographer sharing their creative practice with the group as well as a collaborative choreographic work to be shared with everyone at the end of the workshop. 

Choreographers involved will teach and create on some of the atendees. All participating artists will split up into different rooms with a choreographer. You will have 2 hours to share your practice and create something on the dancers, finishing out the workshop with a creative showing. This is a time to meet new artists, collaborate, and be in a creative and uplifting space.

 

Requirements: 

Choreographer must be willing to collaborate with artists involved

Choreographer must be willing to tie in a mindful approach to their practice. 

Choreographer must be able to work in a diverse and inclusive environment with everyone involved.
