Looking to cast a male lead for an experimental short film titled XYZ. It is a passion project that explores themes of loneliness and searching for connection within society. This 3-5 min film, which loosely parallels the Plato's cave allegory, follows a "glowing figure" (see image attached) wandering through empty spaces searching for the connection he longs for. 
 

This is NOT a dance film, but we are looking for a person with a dance or choreography background since the performance is very movement based rather than on facial expressions or dialogue. We are still locking down the exact dates but tentatively have production planned for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24th-25th on location in NYC, with an additional studio day during the week of Feb. 19th in Philadelphia.

This is a very low budget project, but compensation will be provided. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the story and wants to be apart of the creative process with the director and the small production team.
