KZ Choreo is looking for 9 modern contemporary dancers who identify as femme and a POC. 

KZ is a young, emerging choreographer with an opportunity to show her work at the MOD Arts Dance Collective festival Collective Thread in Harlem, NY this spring. She's hopeful to work with other young, green, dancers and give them a performance opportunity, as well. 

The piece, The Experience, is a contemporary modern dance piece set on 9 dancers, showcasing dynamic individual, partner and asynchronous group material in a warrior-like, almost rigid movement quality. Relying on alternating patterns and formations, the dense movement dynamic in the choreography resembles the musicality and instrumentation in the accompanying music.

This piece has been set on a high school dance group, so the choreography has been crafted and may be revised to best fit the cast for this performance. 

SCOPE OF WORK
Performance: Friday March 22nd, 2024 7:30p (call is 6:30pm)
Dress Rehearsal: Friday March 22nd, 2024 3:45pm - 5pm 
Tech Rehearsal: Friday March 22nd, 2024 2pm-2:30pm (call is 1:30pm)
Rehearsals: 3 days, 3-4 hrs per day (schedule to be set with cast)
Rehearsal week will likely be between March 9th - 22nd
