WHY: To explore characters and concepts in a world-building lab, record devised musical material, and develop a movement vocabulary

A note from composer/creator, Stacy Busch: "She Breathes Fire is a new opera for voices and electronics, which dismantles patriarchal systems and toxic gender binaries by recontextualizing the Hero's Journey. I have created a fantasy world of my own imagination that explores the heroine's journey throughout many ages, characters
and landscapes."
