MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its seventh annual Move to Change Dance Festival on Friday, November 22 & Saturday, November 23 7:30pm EST at The Jacques d’Amboise Center for Learning & the Arts, 217 W 147th Street, New York, NY 10039 & Livestream with on demand viewing option. Move to Change uses dance as a form of social justice and arts activism through the lens of people of BIPOC choreographers & cinematographers. The 2024 open submission call is Monday, September 2 - 11:59 PM EST on Monday, September 30. There is a $10 application fee to submit. There is no participation fee if chosen.

Aline Pilates Mat Teacher Training: Summer Intensive & Comprehensive Certification Program Aline is offering Teacher Training this summer! Whether you want to deepen your practice or begin the path toward teaching, this program offers a focused, immersive experience in the foundations of the classical Pilates method. Aline will be accepting a small, intimate group to ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the training. Schedule (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) • June 20–21 — Beginner Mat • July 25–26 — Intermediate Mat Location: 236 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 Investment: $450 per weekend You do not need to commit to both weekends—you are welcome to choose the session that best fits your goals.
