ArtsConnection is currently reviewing Teaching Artist applications for hire in 2025! We are looking for lead teaching artists specifically in the genre of Hip hop  to work in K-12 schools throughout all 5 boroughs. Travel to areas in the Bronx is especially needed. This is a part time opportunity, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Residencies can run from 10-15 weeks, 1-2 times a week. The position involves curriculum planning and developing collaborative goals with classroom teachers and students involved. Pay begins at $57 per hour and increases to $65 after the first 125 hours of work. We offer ongoing professional development and administrative support provided by Program Managers who help to facilitate collaboration between teaching artists and classroom teachers involve in the residency.  Please apply via the ArtsConnection website: https://artsconnection.org/apply/
