Pony Box Dance Theatre Invited Audition - Seeking Male-Identifying Dancers for Upcoming Projects 

Pony Box Dance Theatre (PBDT) is the umbrella name for our bicoastal nonprofit arts organization whose mission is to share the joy and healing power of dance with everyone. Led by Jaime Carabetta, the NYC based repertory company is recognized for their physically powerful, visually compelling and soulful aesthetic. 

PBDT is seeking experienced NYC-based male-identifying dancers for 2025, starting in March. Seeking dancers with at least 2-3 years of experience in partnering , working with an array of choreographers and proficient in contemporary, modern, and ballet. 

Individuals of all ethnicities and backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Dancers must be available for a residency at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY April 28-May 2, and the week of May 12-16 for an NYC show, as well as additional rehearsals and performances in the spring and beyond.

Dancers are paid between $20-$25/hour commensurate with experience and performance pay ranges from $100-$250. 

This is an invited audition and pre-registration is required. For consideration, please fill out this form by February 3, 2025.  If invited to audition, you will be asked to attend an audition on either February 9th from 2-6 pm or February 10th from 4:30-8 pm. Callbacks are scheduled for Feb 11 from 7-10pm.
