Description: 

QIAA aims to gather performing artists in the Asian community, exchanging our thoughts and inspiring each other through artistic communications on April 12th, 2025. The event will showcase a diverse range of acts – cultural, traditional, and contemporary – to celebrate and reflect Asian cultures and arts. We invite artists working in any form of performing arts to submit works that celebrate Asian culture to participate, whether through dancing, music, opera, theater and musical theater, etc. Submissions should aim to exhibit or explore the cultural significance of Asian performing arts.

Dates: 

Call Announcement: February 11th, 2025

Application Deadline: February 17th, 2025

Notification Letter: February 28th, 2025

 

Eligibility:

The performance should fulfill at least one of the following requirements:

- Works should showcase Asian culture or takes form in traditional Asian arts 

- Group work: at least 60% of the performers should be Asian related 

- Solo work: performer should be Asian related 

- Dance work: choreographer should be Asian related
