The Yard is hiring!

The Yard, a dance residency organization based on Martha's Vineyard, is looking for a variety of positions to support our 2025 summer season.

- Summer Production Manager - in charge of all technical aspects of performances, workshops and engagement events. Includes staff supervision, working directly with artists, staging work (heavy lifting and climbing ladders) and some lighting design. This is a seasonal hybrid position. Part-time, remote work starts in April (est. 8 hours/week); and full-time onsite work (at The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard) runs June 15 through August 9. Salary total approximately $12,000 between April and Aug. 9. Housing is offered for a small fee.

- Production Assistant - assist with tech for performances, workshops and engagement events, includes heavy lifting and climbing ladders, staging, and some audio and lighting work. Hourly position $21/hour; full time hours June 15-Aug. 9. Housing is offered for a small fee.

- Summer Company Manager - key artist services staff member, serving as the primary liaison to artists and providing logistical and administrative support in the realm of transportation, hospitality, housing, health and safety, residency schedules, and other guest needs. They work with Yard staff to ensure the smooth execution of artist residencies, public performances, educational programs, and other events. This is a seasonal hybrid position. Part-time, remote work starts in April (est. 8 hours/week); and full-time onsite work (at The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard) runs June 15 through August 9. Salary total is approximately $8846 between April and Aug. 9. (Hourly position, $22.11 per hour). Housing is offered for a small fee.
