EMERGE125 is seeking volunteers for our 2025 NYC Season:

Volunteer Role: Event Support (PAID)
Date: Thursday May 29, 2025
Time Commitment: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: El Museo del Barrio (1230 5th Ave, New York, NY 10029)

About the Role:
Join EMERGE125 for an exciting evening of dance and play a key part in making our NYC Season a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for our guests! As an Event Support Volunteer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team assisting with a variety of front-of-house duties during our reception and performance.

Schedule:
Volunteers will arrive promptly at 5:00 PM for a brief orientation and team meeting. From there, tasks will be assigned and rotated throughout the night.

Potential Duties Include:
- Greeting guests as they arrive and checking tickets
- Serving champagne during the reception
- Selling raffle tickets and merchandise
- Ushering guests to their seats for the performance
- Pouring/ serving wine and champagne during intermission
- Assisting with post-event clean-up
 

Ideal Volunteer:
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible and willing to jump into different roles as needed
- Over 18 (if alcohol is being served)
- Able to be on your feet and moving around throughout the evening
