I am working on a rehearsal process toward a performance of embodying the ideas of seeds through sound, movement, space, and light. I am looking for dancers who are ready to dive into score-based improvisational practice. In my process, I approach each rehearsal with a strong underpinning of theory based in somatics and materiality, with a continual eye toward collaboration and meeting dancers where they are. This process is grounded in ideas of Palestinian liberation.
We will be moving quickly, with a performance date of Monday June 30th in the evening. There will be six two-hour rehearsals the last full week of June. If you can attend at least 5 rehearsals, please consider signing up for an interview.
