Open Call for Dancers

Seeking dancers for a new piece exploring childlike amazement through movement and the creative process. The work will center play and improvisation, while also incorporating phrase work to ultimately create a short stage piece.

I’m looking for dancers with a strong technical background and a love of improvisation. A live keyboardist will improvise alongside the dancers.
Rehearsals will be paid $15/hour (14 hours total), plus a percentage of ticket revenue.

Rehearsals will take place in the East Village on:
Sunday, May 18, 5:30–9:00 PM
Sunday, May 25, 5:30–9:00 PM
Sunday, June 1, 6:30–10:00 PM
Sunday, June 8, 5:30–9:00 PM
If cast availability allows, one or two additional rehearsals may be scheduled during the week of June 8.
