EXTENDED! Seeking Male Identifying Dancers to Join Our Team!

We are excited to announce that Alison Cook Beatty Dance, is looking to hire two dancers to perform traditionally male roles and join our modern dance company for the remainder of the season, (starting in July-Nov 2025) with the potential for an extended contract to begin in Jan 2026 onward-Nov 2026. If you value consistency in your practice and process and working with a team we are the right fit for you. Alison Cook Beatty Dance value's a team spirit and transparency. 

We are opting for a non-traditional audition process. Instead, we invite interested candidates to submit their resume, including three references with email and phone numbers, and updated dance reel for consideration. Artistic Director Alison Cook-Beatty will screen the submissions and reach out to select dancers to invite them to join a rehearsal session this summer in June, for a better assessment of their compatibility with our team. We would like to see how you interact with our dancers in process. 

Our Rehearsal Schedule is:

- Tuesday: 10 AM - 2 PM

- Thursday: 12 PM - 3 PM

- Friday: 10 AM - 1 PM  

Total: 10 hours per week

Compensation:

- Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, equating to approximately $165 per week. Total: 10 hours per week

Additionally: 

Starting Performance pay is $100 per show, plus technical rehearsal pay.

   -the tech rate is between 2.5-5 hour=flat rate of $40 

- For tours, all expenses will be covered, and a per diem will be provided.

 (We typically work 35-40 weeks a year with roughly 20 performance opportunities in and out of state.)

Requirements:

-Dancers must come prepared for rehearsals and show a commitment to studying their material prior to entering the studio.

-ballet/modern technical ability, strong partnering, as well commitment to being apart of a close knit team is vital.
