Free JEDATAM Class + Potential Invite audition

0.4MM Evelyn Tejeda

The JEDATAM Method (Hip-Hop/Dembow/Contemporary fusion)

Evelyn Tejeda, a renowned choreographer/mover from the Dominican Republic, extends this free opportunity thanks to the 2025 Fellowship From The New Jersey State Council on the Arts, for passionate dancers/movers to join her class through the innovative JEDATAM Method. This is one of her ways of giving back to the community and the world in general, sharing her way of movement, passion and hopefully inspire other to move differently. As well, a way for her to meet other likeminded movers for future productions, in this case participants might be invited to an up coming audition for paid job.

BE AWARE: this is not beginners level, but everyone can try it or just come as a spectator.

Class Description

JEDATAM explores a dynamic fusion of Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Popping, Waving, Breakdance, House, and everyday movements, now adding a little Dominican twist with Dembow music. Evelyn's technique delves into the expressive potential of the body, emphasizing floor work, hits, waves, isolation, melt, spirals, and leg patterns. This unique blend creates a captivating experience, leaving participants truly inspired.
