Audition Notice: One Male-Presenting Dancer / One Female-Presenting Dancer
Season: Fall 2025 – Winter 2026

Audition Update:
As of July 7th both roles have been filled. However, you’re still welcome to send in the required materials if you'd like to be considered for various future opportunities. Please note that we won’t be holding public auditions in 2025. Auditions will be held by private invitation only, so this is a great way to stay on our radar!

Cie. Petra Zanki is casting one male and one femaile -presenting dancers for the upcoming Fall 2025–Winter 2026 season. This is a paid opportunity for a serious, professional-level artist ready to contribute to an active performance schedule. Dancers from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

$23/hour – Rehearsals
$130/performance – For works over 20 minutes
$80/performance – For works under 20 minutes

 

Requirements:

Strong technique and the ability to learn choreography from video
Partnering experience
Punctual, reliable, and fully committed to the rehearsal and performance process
Serious about building a career in contemporary dance
Experience dancing in the NYC scene
Previous company experience preferred
Preferably not newly out of college; however, recent graduates with a high level of maturity, drive, and professionalism will be considered

BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ dancers are strongly encouraged to apply.

a) One uncut video of improvisation (2-4 minutes)
b) One additional video: second improv, performance clip, or partnering footage
