Hello Artist!

We’re seeking bold, interactive proposals for SHINDIG 360, Forza Dance’s immersive social gathering with dance. This year, we’re reimagining how audiences connect with movement – and we want YOU to be part of it!

What is SHINDIG 360?
Shindig is Forza Dance’s annual celebration blending community and performance, inviting audiences to experience dance from fresh, unexpected perspectives.

This year’s edition takes you on a circular journey through four distinct spaces inside the vibrant Brooklyn Art Haus, featuring immersive art, live music, and a world premiere by Artistic Director Michaella Barron.

How can you get involved?
We’re looking for short interactive movement-based acts (5–10 minutes) to perform in Brooklyn Art Haus' lounge space, which includes a small stage (5ft x 4ft), couches, tables, chairs, and retro-inspired wall art (think: vintage comedy club vibes).

Ideas can be improvisational scores influenced by the audience through props, interactions, or other art forms—surprise us with your brilliance!

? Tech/Dress: Sept 26 at 6:00pm
? Compensation: $50 per show
? Each act will perform twice within the two-hour event
? Lighting is fixed
? Please note: nothing may be mounted on the walls
