Seeking Experienced Barre and Cardio Fitness Instructors

 
MOVE. MAKE. BLOOM. offers dance, fitness, choreography and performances to the communities of Queens, New York

MOVE. MAKE. BLOOM. is seeking experienced Barre and Cardio Dance instructors for regularly scheduled classes. Subbing availability is a plus but not mandatory. We welcome instructors versed in multiple fitness and dance genres, including ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, street jazz, barre, cardio, stretch & mobility, Pilates, yoga, or other dance and fitness forms; though these are not required.  Classes are scheduled for Wednesday evenings, but we are open to alternate days for the right candidate.

Our ideal instructors are dedicated to fostering student growth, confidence, and progress, working with beginners, returning clients, and advanced participants alike. Classes are tailored toward dancers and fitness enthusiasts focused on dancer-specific conditioning.

Responsibilities:

T-each scheduled Barre and Cardio Dance classes professionally and consistently
-Prepare for classes and start/end on time
-Communicate clearly and offer modifications for mixed-level groups, students with health concerns, or those returning from injury
-Listen and adapt based on feedback, aligning with studio philosophy
-Bring positive energy to build a supportive and inspired community

Qualifications:

-Strong background in Barre, Cardio Dance, or related fitness fields
-Ability to teach mixed-level classes and adapt to diverse student needs
-Skilled in offering modifications for injuries and other special requirements
-Reliable, professional, and student-focused
-Commitment to student growth
-Dance background a plus but not required
