Ballet Tech, the NYC Public School for Dance, seeks an enthusiastic and reliable class assistant to support our Visual Arts teacher in creating a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment for our students.

Schedule & Hours:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
8–10 hours per week
Variable schedule, with all work hours between 9:00am–2:30pm

Responsibilities:

Assist the visual art teacher with classroom setup and cleanup
Support students with art projects and materials
Help manage classroom flow and organization
Maintain supplies and assist with preparation of materials
Provide general support to ensure a safe and creative learning environment

Qualifications:

Experience working with children preferred
Interest or background in visual arts
Dependable, organized, and proactive
Comfortable working as part of a team in a school setting
