Seeking 4-7 female identifying and 4-7 male identifying dancers of any style + 1 female-identifying dancer/performer for a small role who can also serve as my assistant throughout filming (all ethnicities and genders welcome) for a new five-minute dance film to be filmed in the New York City area. Theatre dance experience is a plus.

The premise of the production is to capture and follow the story of a struggling teen through one of Queen’s songs. The film will feature multiple cuts, with the main focus on telling a story through dance, without dance overtaking the story itself. The work blends acting and movement in roughly equal measure, with a theatrical style that fuses different dance forms with expressive acting. Here are some examples of my work:

There will be approximately 3-4 rehearsals (held in the evenings or on weekends) between November and December, with one day of filming scheduled in December.
