About McKoy Dance Project

Founded in 2019, McKoy Dance Project is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit contemporary dance company and service organization dedicated to breaking down barriers to access in dance and amplifying the voices of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

MDP produces original contemporary dance works, presents public performances, and leads community-based education programs that expand opportunities for artists and audiences alike. Through our artistic work and engagement initiatives, we aim to build a more equitable and accessible dance ecosystem.
