Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center, Inc. is a multi-discipline creative arts organization located in the Northeast Bronx. Mind-Builders develops skills in a variety of art forms for children, teens and adults while nurturing self-esteem, building character, and cultivating an appreciation of the diverse cultures within our Bronx community.

Mind-Builders’ Dance Department is seeking an experienced Dance teacher to facilitate weekly classes in an entry level Ballet/Jazz Basics and/or Acro Basics class(es) for 7 – 10 year old students. The ideal candidates would be available to teach both classes on Saturday afternoons from 3 – 6p., however we are open to interviewing teacher in each distinct style of dance This is an immediate hire since our dance season begins in October which will culminate with our annual recital occurring in May 2026. T

eachers are expected to attend faculty meetings, prepare bi-annual progress reports and prepare students to perform in the recital.

Qualified teachers must have at least 5 years of experience working in a structured studio setting with youth ages 7-10 years old and able to conduct and deliver class in a way, that is rigorous and exciting.
