An exploration of creative tools and performance skills for dancers and choreographers based on KEIGWIN + COMPANY’s collaborative process.  In this class, you will be guided in the creation of phrases and small compositions by borrowing from the K+C toolbox for content generation and composition. This class is an opportunity to play, learn, experiment, and share as dancers and choreographers.

Larry Keigwin is a choreographer, curator, and showman whose work dances at the intersection of pop culture and high art. A native New Yorker, he has strutted from the Metropolitan Opera to Broadway, bringing his signature blend of wit, athleticism, and theatrical flair to stages worldwide. As the founder and Artistic Director of KEIGWIN + COMPANY, Larry has created over 30 works that celebrate the electric energy of contemporary life—including Bolero, his crowd-sourced dance love letter to cities across America. Whether he’s choreographing for Paul Taylor Dance Company, the Radio City Rockettes, or off-Broadway hits like Rent, Keigwin keeps audiences on their toes with his cheeky charm and boundless imagination. Known for turning the everyday into the extraordinary, Larry proves that dance can be both deeply human and wildly entertaining. When he’s not in the studio, he’s likely planning his next bold artistic mashup—or hosting an impromptu dance party.
