The WhirlWind Dance Fall Workshop & Audition is a unique opportunity
for professional and pre-professional dancers to engage in an
immersive, movement-driven experience led by the WhirlWind artistic
team. This workshop is designed not only as an exploration of
technique and creative expression, but also as an audition for future
performance and project-based opportunities with WhirlWind Dance.

Participants will train in an intensive, process-oriented environment
that emphasizes individuality, artistic integrity, and physical rigor.
Dancers will engage with WhirlWind’s repertory material and
improvisational structures, while also having space to contribute
their own voice and movement perspective.

This is an ideal opportunity for artists who are looking for a
collaborative home to grow, create, and evolve—whether as part of a
company or in project-based work. The workshop will also serve as a
space for mutual discovery between the dancers and the company’s
creative leadership.

        •       Location: Columbus, Ohio @ The Well Center for Movement + Dance
        •       Dates: November 22 & 23, 2025
        •       Time: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
        •       Eligibility: Open to dancers 21 and older, with flexibility for
exceptional younger artists 18+
        •       Format: Workshop + Audition (combined experience)
        •       Outcome: Potential invitations to join WhirlWind Dance for upcoming
projects, performances, and collaborations

A limited number of scholarships are available to help cover workshop

        •       A brief written statement (3–5 sentences) explaining what receiving
a scholarship to this intensive would mean to you
