Ballet des Amériques / CABT is seeking technically proficient, classically trained dancers with great versatility, musicality, and remarkable stage presence who are fast learners. We aspire to bring together dancers who strive to become great artists and work well with the dancers, the director, and the company as a whole. The company is looking for individuals whose ethical awareness is important to them.

We are looking for mature individuals who are eager for in-depth work, detail-oriented, open-minded, and motivated. Positions are available for 3 men and 1 woman.

We are bringing together dance artists who possess the desire for the advancement, growth, and development of the company and themselves. Please note that the repertoire is musically and technically challenging. 

 

Ballet des Amériques/Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre is not a repertory company, nor a union company. The company presents and disseminates the work of choreographer Carole Alexis. Carole Alexis's choreographic writing is multicultural and takes roots in the African Diaspora.

Your video will be used as a pre-registration. The video should contain the original soundtrack of the music.

 

1- Your video is reviewed, 

2 - You will be scheduled for an in-person audition. 

3 - The subject line should include "Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre -  Audition".

4 - All applicants must have the proper documentation to work in the U.S. (i.e.: work permit, Green card, U.S. Citizen, etc.) and passport.

Company Dancer and Trainee contracts/agreements will be from October 2025 through July 2026.  Please note that the company performs regularly.

Both Company Dancers and Trainees rehearse approximately 9 to 15 hours/week for approximately October to July.
