ATTN: Women Identifying BIPOC Choreographers

MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its eleventh annual Collective Thread Dance Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2026, 7 pm EST at Harlem School of the Arts Theater, 645 St Nicholas Ave, New York, NY 10030, & Livestream with on-demand viewing option. Collective Thread provides a voice and a platform for artistic self-expression to those women identifying artists of underrepresented ethnic groups within the medium of dance. PLEASE NOTE MADC uses the term “women” to encompass all those who self-identify as women, including cisgender, transgender, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming. The 2026 submission call is open until 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, November 30. There is a $10 application fee to submit that goes towards production fees. There is no participation fee if chosen.
