Boston Dance Theater hosts its annual creation-based intensive, Winter Immersion Project (WIP), taking place January 13-16, 2026 in Watertown, MA. WIP offers a rigorous, choreography-centered training experience with daily class, compositional research, and rehearsal led by BDT Co-Artistic Director Jessie Jeanne Stinnet and Core Members. 

Open to dancers ages 18+, the program provides an in-depth look into the company’s artistic process

On January 16, 2026, BDT will also host its Bi-Annual Open Call Audition, inviting versatile dance artists with strong technical, creative, and performance abilities to the studio! Dancers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the company’s 2026/27 repertory and choreographers in advance.
