Get ready to compete for the diamond elite ultimate prize with your hosts Alex Lee Miller and Malia Candy Apples Lam and maybe some surprise judges ;) Although this festival is called an adult dance competition that will feature many similarities to the dance competitions you know and love, the ultimate goal is for it to serve as an opportunity for artist’s to try out new things in the new year and share their work on stage. The main point of the festival is for choreographers/dancers to capture footage of their piece on stage and receive anonymous audience feedback via a google form. Please note the competition aspect and "winner" is all for fun and games and should not be taken seriously. Also, this is a low-production event so please keep that in mind if your piece requires multiple lighting/tech accommodations that we will not be able to produce such lavish looks. There is no application fee and compensation for the festival will be the ticket sales divided among the selected applicants.
