Neville Dance Theatre is accepting applications from choreographers for an opportunity to create a new work on our company dancers as part of our ‘Chance-to-Choreograph’ program which supports the development & presentation of new works by choreographers at any career stage. The completed work will premiere in our May 2026 ‘On Pointe Dance Festival’ production in New York City. 

- Choreographers receive designated studio time with the dancers, advertising and promotion, access to our costume inventory, a $600 payment stipend, and professional photos & video. NDT covers all production fees.

- Work proposals should utilize a classical to contemporary balletic stylization for 1- 4 dancers.  Works should be between 3-7 minutes and must be performed on pointe.

- 15-20 hours of available studio time with the dancers during our company rehearsals; which fall on Wednesday & Thursday evenings February through April 2026 in the Manhattan area.

- ‘On Pointe Dance Festival’ performances take place Friday, May 8 and Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Arts On Site, Studio 3R in NYC.
