CRCI 2026 — SPACE CAMP
Presented by The Conference for Research on Choreographic Interfaces (CRCI)
Co-produced by Consciously Produced
Greenpoint, Brooklyn March 17th, 18th & 19th 2026

SPACE CAMP 2026 is an intimate, three day gathering of workshops, embodied research, and critical dialogue exploring ecologies of care at the intersection of space, the moving body, gravity, and choreographic inquiry.

Framing Question
What practices help attune the body, senses, and nervous system to experiences beyond Earth’s gravity? Read about our reserach in Dance Magazine here.

Participants will engage in a range of integrated physical and reflective activities, including:

- An intensive workshop series at STREB, featuring pop-action technique, trampoline, and trapeze training*
- Collective dialogue, movement research, and facilitated reflection sessions
- Curated body-care experiences such as float tanks, breathwork, and somatic recovery practices

Facilitators include:
STREB, Adeene Denton, Adam Dipert, Marcel Stewart, Sage Ni’Ja Whitson, and Sydney Skybetter.

Why SPACE CAMP Now?
As AI, robotics, and commercial space travel increasingly shape cultural and political futures, SPACE CAMP creates space for artists and researchers to foreground bodily autonomy, care-based methodologies, and critical resistance to extractive and imperial models of space exploration. This gathering advances body-centered research practices that imagine alternative futures grounded in movement, care, and collective inquiry.

Limited capacity.

This is a ticketed event with income-based tiers. Scholarships available.
