Calling Choreographers! Applications for WestFest Dance Festival's ALL OVER WESTBETH program are now open! 

WestFest: All Over Westbeth is a site-specific program showing a variety of unconventional and unique approaches to dance and space within the historic Westbeth Artists Residence buildings. Each artist will be assigned a unique space in and around the Westbeth building in which they will have the opportunity to rehearse and build a dance. We ask that artists create a short (4-5 minute) piece that can be performed 5-6 times in succession during a 3-hour performance period for groups of audiences touring the sites.

SELECTED ARTISTS FOR ALL OVER WILL RECEIVE:

-FREE production costs

-Professionally captured and edited photos

-Performance video

-Dedicated social media post and promotions on all WestFest platforms

-$250 performance stipend in appreciation of your work 

SUBMISSION SCHEDULE/FEE:

Regular Application Fee: $35 | Submit by Saturday, January 3 at 11:59 PM ET

Applicants will be notified of acceptance via email no later than February 1st.

ON-SITE REHEARSALS:

-Sat February 21, 1-4 PM

-Sat March 14, 1-4 PM

-Sat April 4, 1-4 PM?

-Sat, April 25,  10-4 PM (Tech Rehearsal)

PERFORMANCE DATES:

Sat, May 2: Dress Rehearsal 9 AM Call; Performances 1-5 PM

Sun, May 3: Call - 11 AM; Performances 1-5 PM
