Matthew Westerby Company builds community through the arts by creating non-competitive, inclusive opportunities for young people to engage in professional performance, expand their artistic experiences, & develop networks across NYC and beyond.

2026 marks MWC’s 4th Annual Youth Dance Platform. In 2025, more than 200 young dancers from organizations across NYC and beyond came together to share work and build community—and we’re excited to return for another year!

In April 2026, the Youth Dance Platform will be presented at the Theater at the 14th Street Y. We invite youth dance organizations and performing groups from NYC and beyond to apply to present work in all dance genres. The Platform includes performances by participating groups and a pre-show movement workshop for performers.
