We are looking for three dancers to understudy two evening length dances - bouquet and (my battery is low) and it is getting dark that are touring to Illinois (May 2-4), Michigan (July 23-25ish), and England (June 5-7). From there, the dancers would be considered for joining the company as full time members for a future evening length (and residency) for a new work. Rehearsals are Sundays in March-June.

rogue wave uses neuroscience as a jumping off point for making work, and has an emphasis on physicality and partnering work. We are a goofy, fun group and lighthearted energy is important to me.

As an understudy, you will not receive compensation unless you go into the work. If you are needed to perform, director covers your flight, transport, lodging, performance stipend, and per diem. Because of this, consider your interest before signing up! If you receive a contract afterwards as a full time member, you will begin receiving full pay for performances.
