Assistant, Marketing (Part-Time)

The Assistant, Marketing plays a supporting role in a fast-paced Marketing & Media department that is responsible for selling the company’s 112-performance repertory season and the holiday presentation of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® at Lincoln Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support Acquisition and Relationship Marketing teams in the execution of marketing and promotional activities
Assist with trafficking the production of print and digital creative assets, ensuring a unified brand presence in the marketplace
Maintain up-to-date rate and circulation information for all paid media outlets
Develop a thorough understanding of marketing sales policies and subscriber benefits program
Assist in the production and installation of all NYCB front of house and exterior signage at DHKT and on the LCPA campus
Support the stocking and organization of in-house print collateral, keeping theater and Lincoln Center campus distribution points neat and well stocked and patron-facing teams equipped with necessary materials for ticket fulfillment
Assist in promotional discount programs, including but not limited to $30 For 30 Rush Program and TDF efforts, and other sponsor and third-party promotions and offers that are geared towards existing customer retention
Assist with the curation of marketing assets for tour presenters, ensuring informational accuracy and brand alignment
Assist in the tracking and reporting of acquisition and relationship marketing activity against determined KPIs
Assist in testing promotions including source codes, promotion codes, and offer details
Provide research and support for department projects
Serve as a department proofreader, ensuring consistency of campaign messaging, brand voice, and editorial style guide
Develop a working knowledge of the Company’s ticketing software system (Tessitura), email application (Wordfly), data analytics and list management tool (Data Center), and project management platforms (Airtable and Trello)
Perform general administrative duties, including the ordering of all Marketing & Media department office supplies, maintaining general Marketing & Media accounts (such as FedEx), and the processing of Marketing team mail/deliveries, etc.
Assist with other departmental activities as needed
Minimum Requirements
Highest moral character and integrity
Bachelor’s degree
Writing and proofreading skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Command of MS Office
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible in a deadline-oriented environment
Reliable self-starter with an ability to take initiative and collaborate in a team environment
A demonstrated interest in performing arts/art/culture, ballet and/or in NYCB a plus
Position often requires lifting/carrying boxes of printed collateral

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position with a minimum weekly commitment of 20 hours, Tuesday – Thursday. The hours of work are typically between 10 AM and 6 PM weekdays; additional hours may be required based on departmental need, particularly when Company is in-season.
