Hi, all!

I am seeking one choreographer to commission for a solo I would like to perform. I am currently choreographing a group piece for a show I am producing and running show production, so my creative juices are waning when it comes to my own solo. I feel like I cannot choreograph for myself sometimes and I am having a block--haha!

I can offer a $100 stipend to any choreographer interested in choreographing my piece to music I already selected (and I can offer two free tickets to attend my show on May 24th if of interest); the music is 3:33 long, but I am open to a shorter piece, too (we can cut music as needed).

The music is very experimental and has a lot of tempo and instrumental changes, so I am seeking a modern dance choreographer who is comfortable with that, who creates really articulate, avant-garde, and dynamic choreo that still requires good dancer technique--movement that isn't too static! We can also hop on a call to chat through details!

I will pay for studio/rehearsal space and we can find a time each week 1x a week or every other week starting ASAP to rehearse for 1-2 hours. Rehearsals would end the week of May 18th OR sooner if we feel comfortable with the piece. So the choreo should be complete probably by mid-end April.

Again, I'd like to perform this no sooner than Sunday, May 24th, at a show I am producing and then at other folks shows later this spring/summer. :-)
