Welcome back to year 2 of Cross-Creatives with Opus//The Company!

Date: Sunday, April 19th, 2026

Location: Danceworks Studios in Montclair (127 Grove Street, Montclair)

Cross-Creatives is a one-day workshop series where creators and movers come together to collaborate on new works in progress and develop ideas in a workshop space. Each ‘maker’ will get an allotted time slot to work with a randomized group of movers to workshop/play/invent in a space. The maker has complete freedom to use their time and space how they wish. Our makers this year include: Gryff Tate, Jordyn Cherry, Alyssia Farias, Jack Puluka (Puluka Projects), McKenzie Brewer, and Izzy Baculod. Each workshop is 2.5 hours, and particpants can join 1-3 workshops.

The Cross-Creatives Series is a non binding project; The space is strictly for free play and illustration. This workshop series is $15 or pay-what-you-can: All proceeds go to funding Opus//The Company works and collaborators.

Ages 18+

NOTE:

All workshops are completely non binding for dancers and creators; however, if creators choose to continue their work for our Cross Creatives show or other places, they may use dancers from their own workshops or from others–We encourage you to make art friends!
