Are you passionate about film, the arts, and community impact? Shampaine Pictures is seeking a part-time, paid Arts Administration & Outreach Coordinator to support the ongoing educational campaign for Call Me Dancer - an award-winning documentary that has screened at 80+ festivals, earned 23 awards, aired on PBS and globally, and is inspiring students and communities.
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a film project with real educational and cultural reach, and to grow your skills in arts administration, nonprofit outreach, and documentary impact work.
What You'll Do
--Conduct outreach to arts organizations, schools, libraries, senior living communities, and cultural institutions to schedule screenings and programming partnerships
--Maintain organized tracking systems for partnerships, outreach, and deadlines
--Assist with newsletter and email campaigns targeting educators, programmers, and community partners
--Help build and manage databases of contacts and potential collaborators
--Research grant opportunities and assist with grant writing and reporting
--Support social media content creation and scheduling across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
What We're Looking For
--Excellent written and oral communication skills
--A detail-oriented, self-starter who can manage multiple tasks remotely
--Interest in film, documentary, arts education, and community programming
--Familiarity with social media platforms, Excel, Google Workspace, and basic design tools (Canva)
--Experience with or interest in grant research and nonprofit arts administration
--Comfort working independently in a flexible, remote environment

About the Film
Call Me Dancer follows the inspiring journey of Manish, a street dancer from Mumbai who dreams of becoming a professional dancer against all odds. The film has aired on PBS, received AARP endorsement, distributed to classrooms across the USA, and is at the heart of a growing impact campaign - "Passion Has No Age" - reaching schools, senior communities, and cultural organizations nationwide.
