Applications are open for Spring for Spring, a community-based dance festival to be presented on May 23rd, 2026 in New York City! Apply by Monday, March 23 at 11:59p ET.
***PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE INFORMATION BELOW***
-This opportunity is geared towards professional artists based in NYC and surrounding areas
-Both new and existing works are welcome
-Group dances must be 10 min or less; solos must be 8 min or less
-Selected artists are expected to invite their communities, we will provide marketing materials 
-Choreographers will receive both photo and video documentation of their work 
-Choreographers will receive a minimum stipend of $50, with additional revenue from ticket sales split evenly among artists
We will also be selecting one choreographer/group for Festival's Choice! The selected choreographer/group will be offered a short choreographic residency and/or teaching opportunities. Details will be further discussed with the selected artist in order to suit their needs and interests as best as possible.
Affordable class series will be offered week before the festival in NYC. Stay tuned for details!
