Classes at Creature Space are designed for experienced dancers seeking consistent, high-level training in a focused and artist-driven environment. “Open level” in this context means the class welcomes movers with a strong foundation- Teachers may offer modifications, though the pacing, complexity, and physical demand are geared toward working artists.

About Sasha's Class:
In this class, Sasha shares TAQ Dance’s creative practices through a mix of dance theater exercises, improvisational tools, and phrase work. We’ll begin with a slower, somatic warmup influenced by Pilates and yoga, leading into phrase work, partnering, and experimenting with text and speech. Movement may shift between expansive and contained, internal and presentational, structured and messy, always staying attentive to anatomy, efficiency, and the pull of gravity.

About Mar's Class:
Body as an Archive is a movement class based on the idea that the body is an active archive, storing personal, ancestral and cultural memories. The class explores movement as a research method and a visceral pathway for self-inquiry, expression and awareness of relationships, where sensation, energy and imagination are used to access the body's most profound responses. Designed for movement artists interested in accessing instinctive, generative impulses, this practice draws on my background in dance, Reiki, and film. Dance remains the core foundation of the practice, while the sensorial and imaginative tools drawn from Reiki and film support movement exploration.
